Edisto Gas provides SMS text message notifications for transactional and account-related purposes only. These messages may include propane delivery updates (delivery created, scheduled, updated, or completed), service appointment and technician notifications, and account and billing reminders such as payment due dates and payment confirmations. This program does not send marketing or promotional messages.

Only existing Edisto Gas customers are enrolled, and only after they give consent. Customers may opt in by any of the following methods:

• Online: by completing the sign-up form at edistogas.com/sms-signup and checking the SMS consent box, which is never pre-checked.
• Verbally: by telling an Edisto Gas team member during a call or in person that they want text alerts. The team member reads the consent disclosure below before enrolling the customer.
• By text: by replying START to a consent request sent to the customer’s mobile number.
